Vacation Bible School was a blast!
This year’s VBS was a great experience for all
who were able to join us this year. The setting
was the African Serengeti and the various animals
who dwell in that community as we all explored
God’s great community of believers.
Each day the children participated in varied activities
that would help them to recall the day’s
bible verse and story, everything from “making
blood” or fishing lures, or African hemp bracelets and monkey
faces, or elephant feet that are yummy to eat.
Each day began and ended with a celebration of music and
even some “shakers” to add a little rhythm.
All of this would not have been possible without
the support of so many adult and teen volunteers---
