Learning
Opportunities to grow in our faith include Sunday School, Adult Forums and much more.
Opportunities to grow in our faith begin with our youngest members in the Pre-Kindergarten Sunday School class for children age 3 years to 5 years and continue through the adult years.
The Christian Education hour is 9 am on Sundays, September through May.
Our “Spark: Activate Faith” curriculum for children presents a story and theme each week through a variety of activities involving crafts, games, stories and music.
Families are encouraged to reinforce the Sunday lesson each week using a weekly family activity sheet that describes the Bible story from each Sunday’s lesson, prayers, discussion points, and activities for the family to share together.
Confirmation classes meet each Sunday for children 12 to 14 years.
Summer Vacation Bible School provides an additional opportunity for our elementary age children to learn more about God’s plan for their lives.
Summer mission trips provide an opportunity for junior and senior high youth to grow in their faith while serving others.
The Adult Forum is a weekly study that revolves around studies of the books of the Bible or current topics of interest impacting our local community or our global community.
Other small group bible studies are offered for women through the Wheel of Friendship which meets the second Wednesday of each month.
The women's group, "Wine and the Word" meets periodically. Check the church calendar for meeting times.
